About

History

St Mary's was a Victorian mission church (1874) to a poor part of Pimlico. It was extensively redecorated and refurbished between the wars by the architects Goodhart Rendell and Martin Travers in an opulent Anglo Catholic style. The adjacent arts and crafts building by Goodhart Rendell is being remodelled this year as part of the Pineapple Project to provide significant new community spaces.
