Design approach

Situated on the south bank of River Thames, the house had a particular feel with its overgrown garden and moody interiors. VATRAA's restoration left exposed the original plaster, stair and floorboards, while the concrete basement and rear extension enhance the inside-outside connection. The project became a journey of atmospheres and subtle details inspired by the personality of the homeowner.
