  • The space of the house is loosely divided horizontally and vertically by the sculptural composition of planes and volumes.
  • Sandwiched between the timber ceiling and  floor of the first floor, the kitchen is articulated as a series of white volumes of varying heights and proportions.

  • The volumes and planes of the interior frame views through the glazed elevation to the exterior.

  • A white volume from the exterior, every surface of the interior of the  ground-floor bathroom is clad with terrazzo.
  • The architectural scheme physically manifests the qualities of the drawings that describe it—the upper-level open-riser staircase appearing as a duplicated and arrayed version of the treads of the lower-level staircase.
  • From the open-plan living-dining space, the kitchen can be viewed simultaneously with the galleried office space above.
