Lanterna is a standalone block of 16 new homes above ground floor commercial space, opening out onto a new public square. The design is inspired by the factory buildings of Fish Island and Hackney Wick, alongside neighbouring buildings in the development by Haworth Tompkins and Pitman Tozer Architects.

Lanterna is the endpoint for a new bridge and North-South route to Hackney Wick station, and acts as the gateway building to Fish Island Village.

Fish Island Village is our joint venture with developer, Hill. When finished, it will provide around 600 quality new homes. There is a significant amount of affordable housing including affordable rent and shared ownership, facilitated by funding from the GLA.

Fish Island Village has been brought to life by a team of architects, all working on various aspects of the design. Stirling Prize winners Haworth Tompkins, Pitman Tozer and Lyndon Goode architects have combined their expertise to create a unique and cohesive design for the site.
