Founded in 1840, our church began as a major force for good in the local area. We are still operating as a Church today where it was nicknamed 'The Devil’s Acre’ by Charles Dickens due to great poverty and oppression.

A Grade 2 listed former Territorial Army Drill Hall featuring restored elements of the original 1882 design. It has a triple height central hall with the restored wrought iron balconies and roofing. Notable Neo-Georgian design brickwork.

A prestigious Grade II listed building. Opened in 1939 by Imperial Airways and subsequently used by BOAC and then British Airways. The building has been the home of the National Audit Office since 1986 and was refurbished in 2009.

Commissioned in 1825 by the Duke of York and named York House. In 1829 the lease was purchased by the first Duke of Sutherland. In 1913, Lord Leverhulme, bought the lease for the nation and Stafford House became Lancaster House.

Benjamin Wyatt, 1825

Built in Neoclassical style for Hugh Morrison (1868-1931), this was the last mansion house of its kind to be built in London. The club, founded in 1891, moved to the premises in 1946.

This Victorian building is situated next door to St James' Palace. Fronted in stone in a 'Grosvenor Hotel' Italianate style, coarse foliage ornamentation adorns the facade with grand interiors adapted for Masonic use in the 1970s.

Situated in one of the largest and grandest 19th century squares in London, 1 Belgrave Square was acquired by Romania in 1936 and is now home to the Romanian Cultural Institute.

A rare example of Thomas Archer's work and a masterpiece of English Baroque, originally dubbed Queen Anne's Footstool. A Grade I listed building, restored by Marshall Sisson after extensive bombing damage, now a busy concert hall.
