Original house was built for Edward Proger. From 1797 the residence of William, Duke of Clarence (later William IV) and his mistress Dora Jordan. Now part of the National Physical Laboratory (NPL).

Opening Bushy House and Gardens
schedule Time: 10am to 4.30pm
Bushy House and gardens will be open to the public between 10:00 am to 4:30pm. Science demonstrations will be running between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm (weather permitting). Refreshments will be provided by a local scout group.
Visitors can arrive at any time during the opening hours.
There may be queues at busy times.
