Post-pandemic life-styles have changed for many of us. Many of those lucky enough to create a garden room for a home-office, a play space, a hide-away and a spare bedroom have created buildings in the garden.
This new space is a simple box with a shower room and plenty of sunlight. It is flexible in how it can be used. High levels of thermal insulation, solar panels on its’ roof and rainwater harvesting keep the carbon footprint low.
KNOTTARCHITECTS have taken part in the September Open House events for a couple of decades. At this event we propose to produce a factsheet, have the architects on-site to interpret and explain and there will be ‘working’ drawings to view that illustrate the process of design and construction.
The Garden Room and garden have level access.
