Starting from 11am and running through to 4pm, there will be a series of short talks and opportunities for Q&A about various aspects of Haringey Council's housing delivery programme.
To help address the housing crisis, Haringey has committed to building 3,000 new council homes by 2031, and has already completed 180, with hundreds more under construction across the borough.
The Exhibition will provide you with an insight into how our projects are developed, from initial proposal to handing over the keys to a new council home. It will show you the range of homes we're building, and explain our use of Modern Methods of Construction for some projects.
During the day, there will be short Talks about our new, award-winning council homes and how they are helping tackle climate change, keeping our residents' energy bills down, and supporting our most vulnerable residents. Key talks will cover our Bespoke Homes programme (where we co-design a new home to meet its future tenant's needs) and our SoloHaus homes project, established with wrap-around support to help those residents who have experienced homelessness and rough-sleeping.
