The Museum of Enfield is this year bringing its temporary exhibition to you! “From Enfield to Fork” explores the borough’s history and relationship with food, from Roman Enfield to Market Gardening.

    Enfield has played a pivotal role in providing fresh
    produce to the London market for generations. From
    a Roman settlement in the Lea Valley, via a thriving
    market town and surrounding villages, to today’s food
    loving borough.

    This exhibition explores the borough’s history and
    relationship with food, how Enfield became a hub for
    cooking appliances and food innovation and has been
    at the centre of food production for years.
