4 Queens Road, Wimbledon, SW19 8YA
Centre Court is in the process of being transformed into a unique mixed-use local community hub. There's a new community-facing entrance, a sliding roof and a range of new uses including a roof-top farm, gym, restaurants, climbing wall etc.

Public carparking is also available in the carpark off Queens Road
This will include a tour of the roof-top farm and building site which requires PPE (provided) and climbing several stories of stairs.
The vision is to reinvigorate what was a failing shopping centre, which was over half vacant (with an empty Debenhams) in a unique way.
Instead of demolishing the existing building Romulus have retained the structure to create a new community-focused and mixed use centre in the heart of Wimbledon. This includes:
A new hub for all of Wimbledon with shops, workspaces, gyms, restaurants, cafes and more.
New and more varied jobs reinforcing Wimbledon’s economy.
New open public streets and spaces linking with the Broadway and Queen’s Road.
Sustainable re-use and upgrading of existing buildings rather than demolition.
High quality design, adaptable to changes in how Centre Court can be used.
Celebrating historic assets such as the former town hall and fire station.
Returning activity to Queen’s Road by opening up the ground floor and offering outdoor seating.
As part of this we have signed up a tranche of new users for the centre. This includes: A high end gym and pool by Thirdspace, an indoor bouldering wall by Boardroom Climbing, virtual golf by the Golf Groove, coworking by Huddle, quality vegan restaurant by Mildreds and more to follow!
As part of the repositioning we have introduced a roof-top farm to Centre Court. This is designed to produce local produce that is sold to local restaurants and customers. It includes a mushroom farm that recycles used coffee, bee hives and seasonal produce.
