Applecart Arts moved into the building and began an extensive refurbishment, opening the site to the public as a creative arts hub. The site now provides a home for a theatre, cafe, exhibition, rehearsal, and artist studio spaces.

In 2021 Applecart Arts took over the building, saving it from closure and demolition, now hosting a wide range of artistic disciplines.
We work with a wide range of artistic disciplines – creating original music, film, visual art and drama. We combine this with our long-standing commitment to community engagement and pursuit of artistic excellence.
